Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Minimum of 1 year's experience in behavioral support—middle or high school preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills working with students and staff Candidates with a completed National BCI are strongly preferred for immediate placement Proven ability to reduce challenging behaviors, including elopement, hallway wandering, and aggressionResponsibilities:
Provide whole-class support in a middle school setting, focusing on behavior reduction and positive engagement Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to implement effective behavioral strategies Support a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for students Monitor, document, and communicate student progress and behavior trends Adapt interventions to meet the evolving needs of the classroom You'll have the chance to serve on a dedicated team that values your expertise and commitment to fostering student growth. The contract is full-time (32.5 hours weekly) through the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
