We use Cerec scanners and mills daily and are happy to help train how to use this equipment. Our office is busy but easy going. Patients frequently comment on how the atmosphere is relaxing and laid back. We are a smaller office with seven total employees and with a rare turnover rate. Our patient base is growing and we plan to expand to accommodate. Located in Suttons Bay. 20 minutes from downtown Traverse City. Dentist-owned private practice serving a local, tight-knit community. Dental Assistant Job Description We are looking to hire a kind, personable, and dedicated team member to help with chairside dental assisting. The dental assistant responsibilities include chairside assisting, capturing radiographs, setting up and cleaning treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and maintenance of dental equipment. Pay will be determined based on experience with the opportunity to increase with growth in the position. We are looking for a good personal fit for our patients and our team. Important traits are kindness, compassion, willingness to help, and a desire to get to better each day. Chairside assisting requires organization, timeliness, preparedness and a strong sense of teamwork. Our goal is to find a team member who enjoys taking care of patients and gets along well with our staff. We would like a motivated, long-term team member that will grow with us as our office continues to expand. Dental Assisting Responsibilities

• General Chairside Assisting:

  Restorative, Oral Surgery, Endodontics
• Capturing radiographs and taking impressions
• Setting up and cleaning treatment rooms
• Sterilization of dental instruments
• Helping in the organization and ordering of dental supplies
• Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures
• Reports to the owner/dentist.
• Prior dental assisting and/or reception experience preferred. We are happy to train and help you improve your abilities and range of skills
• Exceptional organizational and customer service skills
