Registered Dental Hygienist

All Smiles Dental Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in Hartsville, TN. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive oral hygiene care including scaling, root planing, and prophylaxis treatments. Assess patient oral hygiene needs and identify signs of dental disease or abnormalities. Clean calculous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins using hand and ultrasonic instruments. Examine gums using probes to locate periodontal recession and signs of gum disease. Chart conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment planning by the dentist. Expose, process, and evaluate dental radiographs. Apply fluoride treatments and other preventive agents to maintain oral health. Administer local anesthetic agents as permitted by Tennessee state regulations. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, disease prevention, and maintenance of oral health. Record and review patient medical histories and update clinical records. Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control standards. Support patient recall systems and schedule follow-up appointments. Qualifications Current Tennessee Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing. Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Proficiency in periodontal assessments, scaling, and patient education. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral pathology, and preventive care techniques. Excellent communication and patient service skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Commitment to continuing education and professional development. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay ranging from $35.00 to $47.50, based on experience.
