Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to ensure optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories and current dental conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health. Take X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Support infection control procedures by sterilizing instruments, managing dental supplies, and adhering to OSHA standards. Foster a welcoming environment that emphasizes patient care, comfort, and education throughout every visit. Experience New grads are welcome Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical terminology relevant to dental care. Prior experience in infection prevention practices, aseptic technique, and maintaining sterile environments is essential.
