Job Description

Job Overview Join our mobile dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! In this energetic and rewarding position, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on oral health, and support the overall success of our dental practice. Your expertise will help foster a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for at every visit. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in our patient database Follow infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure patient safety Review documentation for accuracy, assist with medical coding, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials Proven experience in dental hygiene, preferably in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry settings Proficiency with dental software Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations including pediatrics Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Skilled in chairside assisting techniques, including vital signs measurement and medical imaging procedures Ability to review medical records thoroughly, perform documentation review accurately, and handle medical coding efficiently Join us to make a difference in the senior community where we take dentistry to them.
