Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will support a wide range of clinical procedures, from acute care to long-term management, all while adhering to the highest standards of medical documentation, infection control, and patient confidentiality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through expert nursing practice and collaborative teamwork. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine care needs. Administer medications via injections, IV infusions, and other routes while following aseptic techniques and safety protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and specialized treatments like botulinum toxin therapy or ostomy care. Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as PCC; ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing and basic laboratory testing; interpret results for clinical decision-making. Provide patient education on health coaching topics such as medication administration, nutrition, pain management, and chronic disease management including dementia or Alzheimer's care. Assist in triage assessments in urgent care or emergency medicine environments; prioritize patient needs based on acuity levels. Support infection control practices and adhere to NCQA standards for quality healthcare delivery across all patient interactions. Work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges in specialized settings like memory care or assisted living facilities. Experience Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including PCC/POC Background working in diverse healthcare settings including hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, home care, hospice & palliative medicine, or long-term care facilities like nursing homes or assisted living communities. Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology concepts, and diagnostic evaluation techniques necessary for comprehensive patient assessment.
Pay:
$40.00 - $48.00 per hour
