Cardiac Nuclear Imaging Location:
Tacoma, WA Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts (x4) (no weekends or holidays)
Compensation:
$43.00 - $63.03 per hour (depending on experience)
Sign-On Bonus:

Working alongside providers and imaging specialists, you will support stress echocardiograms, nuclear stress testing, IV management, patient education, and clinical triage. This role blends hands-on nursing care, clinical decision-making, and patient education in a structured outpatient setting. You'll help ensure safe, efficient diagnostic testing while providing compassionate care to patients navigating cardiovascular concerns. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with strong cardiac, ICU, PCU, ED, or diagnostic imaging backgrounds who enjoy autonomy, teamwork, and specialty care.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Clinical Care & Diagnostic Support Support and administer stress echocardiograms and nuclear stress tests Start and manage IVs and administer medications during procedures as needed Monitor patient safety and readiness during cardiac imaging procedures Triage abnormal test results and coordinate patient follow-up Patient Education & Communication Educate patients on testing procedures and care expectations Provide compassionate support throughout the diagnostic process Communicate effectively with providers and multidisciplinary team members Documentation & Quality Document all care and communication in the electronic medical record system Collaborate with providers and imaging staff to support quality patient outcomes Participate in quality improvement initiatives and policy implementation efforts What You'll Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active Washington State RN license Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association Minimum 1 year of RN experience Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience in cardiology, ICU, PCU, or Emergency Department settings 2+ years of experience in hospital or outpatient clinical environments Familiarity with EKG rhythm interpretation and cardiac stress testing protocols Strong critical thinking skills and comfort working independently

Setting:
In-office outpatient cardiac imaging clinic
Travel:

Pay Range:
