Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as an Assisted Living Nurse Supervisor . This leadership role is responsible for overseeing resident care, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality clinical services in a supportive assisted living environment. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, leadership ability, and a passion for delivering resident-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the direct care of assisted living residents Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans Conduct routine clinical assessments and monitor residents' health status Administer medications and ensure compliance with provider orders Serve as the primary nursing contact for physicians, families, staff, and external partners Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices and improve care delivery Provide staff training, supervision, and competency validation Assist with staffing needs, including shift coverage and on-call responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely clinical and staff documentation Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members regarding care updates Ensure adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications Education/Training:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Skills & Competencies:
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train, and motivate staff Ability to analyze data and support decision-making processes Experience developing policies, procedures, and care plans Strong organizational, planning, and delegation skills Conflict resolution, team-building, and active listening abilities Proficiency with computer systems and healthcare documentation Work Environment & Expectations Scheduled on-call rotation required Ability to respond to resident care needs and staff questions as needed Participation in staff meetings, training, and quality initiatives Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and staff You can reach out to me at Whitney.
