In this vital role, you will provide expert patient care across a variety of clinical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will support patients of all ages and medical conditions, from acute care to long-term management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working within a collaborative and innovative environment. All roles are compensated, including internships, reflecting our commitment to valuing every team member. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Administer medications and injections accurately following HIPAA guidelines and medical documentation standards. Assist with complex procedures such as suturing, catheterization, IV insertion, and sterile processing to ensure patient safety and comfort. Manage airway care, ventilator support, and acute pain management in diverse settings including ICU, emergency room, or outpatient clinics. Coordinate patient care plans through case management strategies, discharge planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Conduct diagnostic evaluations like laboratory specimen collection/processing and utilize diagnostic tools such as sonography or medical imaging when necessary. Provide specialized care for populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care patients, or those requiring hospice & palliative medicine. Skills Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation. Proficiency in critical care environments including ICU experience, trauma medicine at Level I or Level II trauma centers, and emergency medicine settings. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures and treatments. Skilled in performing physical examinations, patient assessment techniques, and diagnostic evaluation processes. Expertise in infection control practices, aseptic technique, and infection prevention protocols across multiple healthcare settings. Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including those in long-term care facilities like nursing homes or assisted living communities. Familiarity with specialty procedures such as Ostomy care, Gastric lavage, Spinal tap or Neonatal ventilator management is a plus.
