Pay Information RN starting wage $41.50 plus years of experience Offering $5/ hour night shift diff Offering time and a half from 2pm Fridays - 2pm Sundays $5,000 sign on bonus for Full Time night RN. Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care in a long-term care setting. Your expertise will help ensure patients receive personalized treatment, effective pain management, and comprehensive health assessments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including those with complex needs such as developmental disabilities, memory care residents, and individuals requiring specialized procedures like catheterizations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments by measuring vital signs, performing physical examinations, and evaluating physiological data to inform treatment plans. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform procedures such as suturing and catheter care following aseptic techniques. Manage complex cases involving acute pain, trauma medicine, ICU or trauma center protocols, and emergency room procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, coordinate case management efforts, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and NCQA standards. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like Point Click Care for accurate documentation of medical records, lab results, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and medical documentation. Support laboratory specimen collection/processing and participate in infection control practices to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Skills Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems including Point Click Care for seamless documentation. Experience with diverse clinical procedures such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, ostomy care, and gastrostomy tube management. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology (including
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding), and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Skilled in managing patients with complex needs such as behavioral health issues, dementia/dementia care (including Alzheimer's), memory care units, or working with people with disabilities. Excellent communication skills for patient assessment discussions and interdisciplinary collaboration. Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
