Job Description

CNA starts out at $21.50 MA starts out at $22.50 Full time employees receive 100% covered health insurance. Full time and part time employees receive sick and vacation days. Weekend time and a half pay. $5 night shift diff. Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Medical Assistant (MA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, assist medical staff with clinical and administrative tasks, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for patients across various care settings. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to delivering high-quality healthcare services while fostering a positive experience for every individual you serve. Duties Assist with patient mobility, including the use of Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices, ensuring safety and comfort during transfers and positioning. Take and record vital signs, monitor patient conditions, and document findings accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks. Support clinical procedures including catheter care, medication administration, phlebotomy, and aseptic techniques in accordance with healthcare protocols. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory impairments, or behavioral health needs, ensuring compassionate engagement. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, or Level I Trauma Centers to deliver timely patient support. Assist in patient education and communication, ensuring understanding of treatment plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Maintain medical documentation meticulously, including medical records and notes on patient service activities to support continuity of care. Requirements Valid CNA certification or Medical Assistant certification with current licensure where applicable. Experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and infection control practices including aseptic technique. Ability to perform vital signs measurement, catheter care, medication administration under supervision, and basic life support (BLS). Prior experience with long-term care, geriatrics, behavioral health, or home & community care is highly valued. Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for caregiving; ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages including pediatrics and persons with disabilities.
