Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Maintenance Staff member, where your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. This vital role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across residential, manufacturing, and commercial facilities. You will be instrumental in ensuring safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal by applying your mechanical, electrical, and supervisory skills. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting utilizing tools such as ohmmeters, and work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to maintain automation systems. Execute welding tasks and mechanical repairs to ensure equipment integrity and safety standards are met. Manage facilities maintenance activities including plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and residential painting projects. Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and maintenance manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Supervise or assist with maintenance teams during complex projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and tasks are completed efficiently. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future inspections. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or residential environments. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics, PLCs, Ohmmeters, and electrical troubleshooting techniques. Mechanical knowledge including welding skills and familiarity with various tools used in repair work. Supervisory or leadership experience managing maintenance teams or projects. Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals accurately. Experience with CMMS software for work order management is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
