Job Description

Overview:
We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) with aspirations of becoming a Director of Nursing. We are a new franchise location that will open in Fall 2026.
Pay Range:
$47.00- $51.00 per hour Benefits include Mileage Reimbursement Workers' Compensation Unemployment Insurance Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML) Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse Provide comprehensive patient care tailored to individual health needs, including medication management, wound care, infusions, catheter expertise, PICC lines and health assessments. Utilize your anatomy and physiology knowledge to monitor vital signs and recognize early signs of health deterioration. Maintain documentation and update medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and data security. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans. Educate clients and caregivers on health management strategies, medication usage, and safety protocols to promote ongoing wellness. Responsible for managing the compliance of the Joint Commission, State Regulations and overall franchisor compliance. Conduct regular evaluations of client progress and adjust care plans accordingly to optimize outcomes. As Director of Nursing, you will supervise and help implement routine competency training for personal care assistants and nurses to ensure the care team has the resources to implement the best practices. Requirements Current nursing license (RN) issued by the Maine State Board of Licensing. Experience in patient care within a home or community setting is preferred. Skilled in infusions, PICC line management, injections and wound care. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure the privacy and security of medical records. Excellent communication skills to help share complex health information clearly to clients and families, and strong interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with staff, management, and external partners. Perform detailed medical documentation accurately and efficiently. This role offers a mix of clinical work, administrative tasks and supervision and management of caregivers to ensure the highest quality care for our patients.
