Responsibilities and Duties:

The Consulting RN is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in the Consulting department, which consists of various specialties that can include: Neuro, ENT, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Cardiac, or Urology. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectations with minimal supervision. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.
