Registered Nurse (RN) - IVIG Home Infusion Nurse

BrightStar Care is seeking experienced and compassionate IVIG Infusion Nurses to provide in-home infusion therapy. This is a great opportunity for nurses who value autonomy, specialty care, and a meaningful one-on-one experience with clients. Candidates must be comfortable with independent IVIG administration, medication management, and infusion reaction safety protocols. This position requires travel within Broward County.

Responsibilities:

Administer IVIG and other specialty biologics Perform venipuncture and manage IV access on difficult access clients Monitor clients during infusion and document clinical findings Educate patients/caregivers on therapy, pre-medications, and signs of adverse reaction Communicate with pharmacy and BrightStar Care clinical leadership Follow BrightStar policies and infection control protocols Develop client-centered Plan of Care Thorough client, family, and home assessment, collaboration with multidisciplinary team, and timely submission of electronic documentation

Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Florida. Valid BLS certification Minimum 2 years of infusion experience (IVIG experience required) 1 year of Acute Care and 1 year of Home Health Nursing Peripheral IV site initiation + maintenance Central line site access + maintenance Comfortable administering emergency medications (e.g., EpiPen) Ability to quickly learn facility software required. Ability to carry out directions, take initiative, and problem-solve required. Ability to remain on feet throughout shift is required.
