For candidates who do not yet have this experience, completion of our Periop 101 training program will be required. The course is offered 3-4 times per year with limited enrollment, so we encourage interested applicants to take this into consideration when applying.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Graduate of accredited nursing program, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.

Experience:

1 year of nursing experience.

Licensure:

Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
