This position offers a consistent 3x12 schedule on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights , a $5,000 sign-on bonus , and meaningful nursing work in a structured residential setting. You will work closely with clinical, education, and direct care teams to help maintain a safe, stable, and therapeutic environment throughout the overnight shift. This position includes medication administration, health assessments, documentation, care coordination, and responding to youth medical needs as they arise. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care to youth in a residential behavioral health setting Administer medications and monitor for side effects or concerns Complete health assessments, screenings, and nursing documentation Respond to medical needs, injuries, illnesses, and emergencies Coordinate care with physicians, clinical staff, direct care staff, and leadership Maintain accurate medical records and follow all required policies and procedures Support a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment Communicate clearly with team members during shift changes and as needs arise Help ensure youth receive appropriate medical care, follow-up, and support Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee, or ability to obtain Tennessee licensure Previous nursing experience preferred Behavioral health, residential treatment, corrections, pediatric, adolescent, or emergency nursing experience is a plus Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and focused in a structured youth care environment Must be dependable and able to work overnight shifts every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Must be able to pass required background checks and pre-employment screening Physical Demands Must be in good physical health and emotionally stable Able to actively engage with youth, participate in physical interventions, and transport youth or staff as needed Must be free of communicable diseases as defined by the state Must pass evaluation of physical techniques and certification exams.
