Required Qualifications:

Active RN license in Illinois Current Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential Experience or interest in school-based nursing Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with teachers, staff, and families Familiarity with creating and maintaining student health records Commitment to student advocacy and safety

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students as needed Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans Manage and administer daily and emergency medications Respond to medical emergencies and support crisis response protocols Conduct health screenings and immunization compliance checks Serve as a health resource for students, parents, and staff Maintain accurate health documentation and reports in accordance with district policies Educate the school community on wellness topics and safety practices
