Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Respiratory Therapist to a respected healthcare environment where you'll play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care to patients of all ages. This contract opportunity is perfect for a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist ready to flex their abilities across various hospital units.
Schedule/Hours:
3 x 12-hour night shifts Nights; schedule pending approval
Qualifications:
Active certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Strong clinical skills and confidence working in all hospital units Ability to adapt quickly and manage changing patient acuity Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Responsibilities:
Administer therapeutic respiratory treatments and diagnostic testing Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Monitor patients' conditions and adjust ventilatory support as needed Accurately document therapies and patient response Float between units as required, providing flexible coverage and support In this role, you'll engage with a diverse group of patients while broadening your clinical experience by floating to all hospital units.
