In Person Position Overview Lung & Sleep is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Sleep Technologist to join our sleep medicine team. This role is responsible for conducting diagnostic sleep studies, supporting respiratory therapy services, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation while delivering compassionate patient care. Responsibilities Perform overnight polysomnography (PSG) studies in accordance with established clinical protocols Obtain and document vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature Conduct diagnostic evaluations such as electrocardiograms (EKGs) and pulmonary function testing as appropriate Prepare patients for sleep studies and respiratory therapy treatments, providing education and support throughout the process Monitor patients during studies and respond appropriately to clinical events Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely patient documentation Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and equipment calibration procedures Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care Requirements Current RPSGT certification (Required) Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols precisely Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work independently during night shifts Prior sleep lab or respiratory therapy experience preferred Must be able to commute to or relocate to Kernersville, NC 27284
