REGISTRATION CLERK

HOURS:

Full-Time Position The Registration Clerk will be responsible for assisting the public and registering all patients coming into the facility.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

Registers all patients who come to the clinic. Follows HIPPA protocols. Must obtain a complete and accurate patient demographic information. Gathers insurance information and any other pertinent billing information. Has a thorough working knowledge of the registration department including all policies and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public. Represents a caring, friendly and professional attitude to the patient/family or public that he/she has contact with. Performs such other duties and tasks given by supervisor.

Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate from High School or equivalent. Prefer two (2) year degree to include a medical terminology course.

Experience:

Will provide on-the-job-training, however prefer previous medical office experience.
