Registration Clerk - Full Time - Radiology

Join us at Story County Medical Center as a Registration Clerk on our Financial Services team, primarily supporting the Radiology Department! Located in Nevada, we deliver top-quality healthcare across multiple specialties in a community-focused setting. In this role, you will serve as an important point of contact for patients within Radiology while supporting registration and financial services processes. Be part of our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in healthcare! As a Registration Clerk you will: Register patients arriving for appointments and verify accuracy of all demographics within patient record including insurance verification. Greet, assist, and direct patients, and visitors as they arrive to the facility. Answer all in-coming calls in a friendly and professional manner; transfer calls to appropriate staff and schedule appointments. Distribute financial assistance paperwork to patients requesting assistance. Work closely with Financial Counselor to set-up meetings for the patient to discuss financial or billing issues. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient, resident, and personnel information.

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about optimizing patient care? We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

High school diploma or GED required. Dependent Adult and Child Mandatory Reporter within specified time period from hire date. Must successfully complete RQI Responder requirements within designated orientation timelines and maintain ongoing program requirements throughout employment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

Epic experience. 1 year of customer service. 1 year of medical office registration.
