Job Description

Rehab Registered Nurse (Travel or local position)
Location:
Pueblo of Acoma, NM 87034-0317
Pay Rate:
$52 plus $1,246 weekly travel stipends (if applicable)
Schedule:
40 hours per week. Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Excluding Federal Holidays Contract Length:
1 year with the option to extend
Benefits:
$5.09 per hour for Health and Welfare, 10 days PTO, Accrued sick days, and 11 Paid Holidays.
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Rehab Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in an IHS facility. This role focuses on recovery, continuity of care, and improving patient outcomes in a structured outpatient setting.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory throughout the term of the contract. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) Support pre-admission planning and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams Monitor patient progress and quickly identify/report changes in condition Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed Educate patients and families on recovery plans and self-care strategies Advocate for patients while respecting cultural, spiritual, and individual needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR Assist with procedures and coordinate diagnostic services Respond to emergencies and ensure patient safety at all times Promote continuity of care through effective communication with providers and staff
Pay:
From $52.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
