Acute Inpatient Rehab Unit Role Overview:

Seeking an experienced Rehab RN for a fast-paced Acute Rehab Unit caring for adult and geriatric patients recovering from strokes, surgeries, fractures, weakness, and other medical conditions requiring intensive rehabilitation therapy. Candidates should be team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working closely with PT/OT/Speech Therapy teams.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years Rehab or Med/Surg experience BSN required Epic charting experience required Must pass Basic EKG exam (80% or higher) Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted with 2 years experience

Certifications Required:

BLS NIHSS ACLS

preferred

Clinical Skills:

Stroke/TIA and post-surgical patient care Dysrhythmia interpretation IV starts and lab draws Fall prevention and mobility assistance Rehab-focused nursing care and patient education

Schedule & Work Expectations:

Every 3rd weekend required Holiday block scheduling required Floating to like units as needed Self-scheduling available but limited based on unit needs
