Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Rehab/LTC Job Type Contract Advance your nursing career in a newly opening state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital, where you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. This contract RN role offers the chance to deliver impactful care in a supportive setting, utilizing your med/surg expertise in a dynamic post-acute environment.
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts Night shift team structure: 4 RNs and 4
LPNs Key Qualifications:
Active RN license with recent experience in rehabilitation or long-term care settings BLS certification required Ability to read telemetry Strong documentation skills utilizing Meditech Magic EMR system Comfortable operating patient lifts, iSTAT, glucometer, and administering inhalers/breathing treatments
Preferred Experience/Certifications:
ACLS certification (or obtained within 90 days) CRRN certification Knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in post-acute settings
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in implementing rehabilitation care plans established by an interdisciplinary team Conduct head-to-toe assessments and provide empathetic patient advocacy Perform lab draws, IV medications, blood administration, and patient education Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues Foster a safe and positive healing environment and uphold established hospital guidelines and policies
