Relief Operator

I. Job Summary Perform duties in general plant operations, control room operations, deep well monitoring, and RCRA inspections as needed. Rotating Shifts / 7 Days a week II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Function as relief for Control Room Operator, Operator 1, Operator 2, and Shift Supervisors.
• Perform general plant housekeeping functions as required.
• Perform RCRA inspections.
• Perform other assignments as requested.
• Must comply with all safety rules and regulations of the company.
• Boiler operation responsibilities.
• Unload trucks.
• Must be able to participate on emergency response rescue team: o Contingency Plan event. o Confined space entry rescue.
• CPR, first aid site provider.

III. Qualifications A.

Required Qualifications:

High School education B. Preferred Qualifications C. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Good knowledge of all site operations (qualified in all operating jobs).
• Basic knowledge of site control system.
• Must have knowledge of OSHA and governmental regulations which apply to the handling and treatment of hazardous waste materials.
• Basic computer knowledge.
