This position is contingent upon contract award and position availability. Selected candidates will receive a contingent offer of employment, which will become final only upon successful contract award to Maximus, availability of the position, and receipt of authorization to proceed. This role is hybrid and may be based out of either the Springfield, VA or Stennis, MS location, with an anticipated requirement to work on‑site approximately 50% of the time and occasional travel to other site locations, based on customer needs. TCS173, P5, Band 8Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide deputy-level program management and oversight for multi-million-dollar technology operations supporting TSA's enterprise IT/OT infrastructure, including day-to-day coordination of technical teams, subcontractors, and cross-functional resources to ensure continuous 24x7x365 service delivery.
- Manage project execution and administrative activities including project plans, schedules, resource allocation, budget tracking, deliverable submissions, and coordination with Task Leads and SMEs to maintain contract compliance and performance standards.
- Support issue escalation and resolution by identifying critical program issues, conducting root-cause analysis, determining operational/strategic impact, developing corrective actions, and escalating High and Critical issues to Program Manager.
- Coordinate technical operations and stakeholder engagement including attendance at status meetings, interfacing with TSA COR and CO as needed, managing communication channels between technical teams and government leadership, and ensuring seamless information flow across program functions.
- Oversee technology analysis, systems design, and implementation support for cybersecurity operations, infrastructure modernization initiatives, and strategic technology integration efforts while ensuring adherence to federal regulations, TSA policies, and security compliance requirements.
- Lead team building and personnel management activities including technical conflict resolution, staffing coordination, onboarding support, performance monitoring, and ensuring qualified personnel are properly allocated to meet surge requirements and changing workload demands.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience managing complex IT task orders or projects, including responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and technical delivery.
- Proven ability to work directly with government stakeholders, apply industry‑standard project management methodologies and tools, and deliver solutions for projects of similar scope and mission complexity.
- BA/BS required.
- 10+ years of required work-related experience.
- Hybrid with travel to various locations such as Springfield VA and Stennis MS.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- ITSM Experience and/or Certifications.
- ITIL.
- Certification from an accredited PM institute like PMP or PMI.
