Rental Property Maintenance

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing properties that Brick and Mortar Realty, LLC manages. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of the rental properties.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and responding to work orders.
• Grounds keeping, removal of materials and debris.
• Removal and disposal of old appliances and construction debris.
• Interior and exterior painting.
• Repair or replace appliances.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with tenants regarding maintenance issues.
• Demonstrate leadership skills when coordinating maintenance projects.
• Utilize Google Calendar and property management website to streamline scheduling.
• Perform general maintenance tasks to upkeep the facility.
• Perform landscaping tasks to upkeep curb appeal of properties.

Requirements:

• Strong command of the English language for effective communication
• Customer service skills to address maintenance concerns promptly
• Leadership abilities to oversee maintenance projects effectively
• Availablility to respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, painting, and ability to diagnose/repair minor fixes needed.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in property maintenance, construction, or general maintenance.
