Job Description
SITEX, Inc. is seeking dedicated individuals to join our expanding team as Confined Space and High Angle Rescue Technicians. Whether you are highly experienced, have some experience, or are new to the field, we welcome your interest. Our comprehensive training program ensures that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform technical rescue operations safely and effectively for a variety of clients nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform rescue operations in confined spaces and at high angles, including but not limited to industrial sites, construction areas, and other hazardous environments. Conduct risk assessments and develop rescue plans tailored to specific scenarios. Operate and maintain rescue equipment, including ropes, harnesses, breathing apparatus, and other specialized tools. Provide first aid and emergency medical care to injured individuals during rescue operations. Collaborate with other emergency response teams, including fire departments, medical personnel, and law enforcement agencies. Participate in regular training sessions and drills to maintain proficiency in rescue techniques and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards. Document and report all rescue operations, including incident details, actions taken, and outcomes.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.For experienced candidates:
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in confined space and high angle rescue operations.For candidates with some experience:
Previous experience in rescue operations, emergency services, or related fields is preferred.For candidates with no experience:
A strong willingness to learn and participate in our comprehensive training program. Certification in Confined Space Rescue, High Angle Rescue, and First Aid/CPR is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards (for experienced candidates). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks in challenging environments. Strong communication and teamwork skills.Job Types:
