Discover your opportunities at Yale! Overview Assist in the collection, maintenance, review, and reporting of data for the Yale Child Study Center (YCSC) Clinical Services. In addition, participate in other quality assurance and research-related projects as needed. Essential Duties Ensure efficient and accurate data collection and data processing. Review data collected in Epic for completion and accuracy and enter data as needed to maintain an accurate and up-to-date electronic medical record for the YCSC Clinical Services. This includes but is not limited to review and follow-up on QA reports for outpatient youth and IICAPS services, review of appointment data/status across programs, measures entry in Epic, review of treatment plan and evaluation materials to assure minimum standards met, etc. Assist in the generation and submission of reports for the Connecticut Department of Children and Families and other entities as required per specific program contracts. Assist in the collection, review, and entry of information obtained during patient services in the Child Study Center Clinical Services including but not limited to outcome measures, consents, releases of information, referrals, etc. Work with other staff within the department to support regulatory compliance and quality assurance activities. Assist with scanning, filing, faxing and copying as needed. Other job duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities 1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, in particular SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 2. Experience in a role involving data entry. 3. Thorough and detail oriented. 4. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills. 6. Professional demeanor, ability to work independently under minimal supervision, and positive attitude toward work. Preferred Skills and Abilities 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Services); training and work experience in data collection and data analysis. 2. Data analytical skills; ability to present data in multiple formats (tables, charts, PowerPoint slides). 3. Experience with EPIC Principal Responsibilities 1. Researches and collects data through site or home visit intakes; library research; structured interviews; or through other means for designated research assignments. 2. Records and compiles information related to research data. Codes data accordingly to research specifications. Uses a computer terminal to input and retrieve data and to generate reports. 3. Processes and summarizes data using scientific or statistical techniques. Assists in data interpretation and analyses. Reports on status of research activities. 4. Recruits study participants and ensures that subject recruitment and follow-up are completed per protocol procedures. 5. Orders and maintains inventory of supplies. May assist in designing, developing, and modifying research experiments, procedures, or survey instruments. May assist research and support staff. 6. Performs additional functions incidental to research activities. Required Education and Experience Six years of related work experience, four of them in the same job family at the next lower level, and high school level education; or four years of related work experience and an Associate's degree; or little or no work experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
