As a Resident Assistant , you will support residents with daily living activities while helping create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. Working under the direction of the Charge Nurse, you'll provide hands-on care and emotional support while promoting each resident's independence and dignity. Providing high-quality personal care and assistance with daily living activities Supporting residents during meals, social activities, and recreational programs Following individualized care plans and encouraging resident choice and independence Completing documentation, charting, and required resident care records accurately Observing and reporting changes in resident condition or safety concerns Reporting incidents, hazards, or allegations of abuse/neglect according to policy Assisting with maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Following all state regulations, safety guidelines, and Genacross policies and procedures Qualifications as aResident Assistant:
Must be at least 16 years old Must have, or be willing to complete, required Resident Assistant and First Aid training Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software systems Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed Why Join Genacross?
