ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide personal care (manicures, bathing, and dressing) to individuals requiring assistance Provide daily orientation to residents Facilitate activity group, serve meals/snacks, and clean kitchen/dining room area Report to next shift with updates on any progress or changes Assist with medications as indicated, charting, health monitoring (blood pressures, weights, temperatures) Answer and transfer telephone calls appropriately Verbally communicate with residents, families, pharmacists, medical and facility staff Arrange for transfer of resident to medical facility if needed Handle and maintain confidential information/records Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, and the public Document appropriate to cares/needs given Use the appropriate lift per residents' care plans Perform additional duties as assigned
