Job Description

As as Resident Services Coordinator at Abbeville Housing Authority, you'll play a crucial role in empowering individuals and families by connecting them to the services and support they need to thrive in their communities. Position Summary:
We are seeking a Resident Services Coordinator responsible for assessing the needs of residents, developing programs, providing resource information, and connecting residents with low incomes who are living in affordable housing developments to vital services. This role involves collaboration with property operations staff and external partners to ensure residents receive the support they need.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct resident needs assessments and organize community meetings.
  • Survey residents to identify service needs and priorities.
  • Link residents with appropriate services, helping to overcome access barriers.
  • Establish partnerships with organizations in the community that support our residents.
  • Implement programs in partnership with community service providers.
  • Collect data and submit reports for program evaluation.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in social services or social work settings.
  • Experience working with children, youth, and families.
  • Strong advocacy, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop partnerships with community groups and institutions.
  • Knowledge of Reasonable Accommodations/504s/ADA.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Pay:
$17.00
  • $22.
00 per hour
