Thomaston Comfort Control in Thomaston, CT is looking for a Residential Climate Control Field Technician who thrives on solving challenges, communicating clearly with homeowners, and leaving every system safer and more reliable than you found it. Imagine this You arrive at a home with uneven temperatures. You assess ductwork, add a run, install a smart thermostat, and service the air conditioner. You explain findings in plain language, complete detailed job notes before leaving, and order the parts you'll need for tomorrow's first call. That's a win for the homeowner—and for you. What you'll do Install, service, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, AC units, and ventilation components. Install ductwork and thermostats for precise system control. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues to restore optimal performance. Deliver excellent customer service with clear recommendations and updates. Perform routine maintenance and preventative work to increase system longevity. Maintain an organized inventory of replacement parts and place orders as needed. Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and promptly. Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements on every job. What you'll need Valid HVAC license and applicable certifications. Demonstrated residential HVAC technician experience. Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, specialty tools, and equipment.
