Job Description
Job Summary:
- The Residential HVAC Installer is responsible for assessing job sites, retrofitting new equipment replacements, leading installation crews, and performing system startups to ensure high-quality installations. This role requires technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to customer satisfaction to support our company's growth and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess job sites to determine requirements for equipment replacement, including measurements, system compatibility, and site-specific challenges.
- Perform retrofitting of new HVAC systems, including removal of old equipment, installation of new units, and integration with existing ductwork and infrastructure.
- Lead and coordinate installation crews, assigning tasks, ensuring teamwork, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Conduct system startups, including testing, calibration, and verification of proper operation to ensure optimal performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with the Installation Field Supervisor and sales team to address any job-specific issues and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, local building codes, and industry standards during installations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in residential HVAC installation, with a strong understanding of retrofitting and system startups.
- Proven ability to lead and manage small installation crews effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment used in HVAC installation (e.g., refrigeration gauges, power tools, brazing equipment).
- HVAC certification (e.g., EPA 608) required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality installations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites daily.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with crews and interacting with customers.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$60,000.00- $120,000.
