Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong general maintenance background, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain all aspects of the assigned apartment buildings. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, ensuring a safe and functional environment for all. Responsibilities & Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment buildings and units. Troubleshoot and diagnose resident submitted work orders. Complete all maintenance work orders and apartment turnovers in a timely, efficient and professional manner. Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly. Conduct facilities maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall patching and painting, HVAC, and general repairs. Ability to document notes and photos via phone. Organize and maintenance all equipment, tools and maintenance shop facilities. Assist grounds crew in snow removal with properly documented logs. Purchase of required supplies, equipment and tools necessary to complete work. Emergency maintenance on call - one week rotation Documenting all work completed via app (with notes and photos) Qualifications and Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs across various systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques. High level of organization and attention to detail Experience working effectively as a team and independently Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with residents. Familiarity with apartment maintenance practices, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Proficient in residential painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes. Excellent professionalism and communication skills Driver's License with personal vehicle, required Join our team as a Maintenance Technician where your skills will be valued, and your contributions will make a difference in maintaining our apartments.
