What You'll Do As a Residential Youth Counselor, you'll: Build trusting, professional relationships with adolescents Create structure through daily routines and activities Apply trauma‑informed care and emotional regulation strategies Support treatment goals in collaboration with a clinical team Document interactions and incidents clearly and professionally Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship Help create a safe, empowering, and respectful environment Your presence matters often more than you realize.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma (Associate degree, 60 college credits preferred) 2+ years of youth-related experience (childcare, camps, schools, mentoring, behavioral health, etc.) OR 7 years of parenting experience 21+ years old Valid driver's license Authorized to work in the U.S. Background check & fingerprinting required 2nd Shift Schedules (4‑Day Work Week)
Wednesday-Saturday Wed:
12pm-2pm & 6pm-11pm (split shift)
Thurs-Fri:
2pm-11pm
Sat:
8am-11pm
Sunday-Wednesday Sun:
8am-11pm
Mon-Tues:
2pm-11pm
