Duties Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and professionalism, making them feel instantly welcomed Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with courteous and clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations Assist servers and kitchen staff by relaying guest needs and special requests promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to uphold a polished appearance Handle guest concerns or complaints with patience and effective problem-solving skills to ensure positive guest relations Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest relations Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across hospitality settings A professional appearance coupled with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills Join us to be part of a team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional service.
