Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic food service team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and drive team performance. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth daily functioning. Lead and motivate a diverse team by providing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance skills in food handling, customer service, and kitchen management. Oversee inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and health regulations to maintain a safe dining environment. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and shift management responsibilities. Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, culinary standards, and catering or banquet services when applicable. Conduct interviewing and hiring processes to build a strong team aligned with the restaurant's service standards and culture. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environments. Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated experience in staff training, team management, and leadership roles. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food industry operations is highly desirable. Ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining high standards of hospitality and operational efficiency.
