In this pivotal role, you will oversee the smooth functioning of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, food quality, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness standards. Lead and motivate team members to provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a positive work environment. Manage shift schedules, assign tasks, and oversee staff performance to ensure efficient workflow. Handle cash transactions accurately using Toast POS system, including cash handling and reconciliation. Monitor inventory levels, assist with food ordering, and control food and supply costs through effective inventory management. Enforce food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all areas of the restaurant. Train new staff members on food handling, customer service excellence, and operational procedures to foster continuous improvement. Support kitchen management by overseeing food production processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Assist in budgeting efforts by tracking sales, labor costs, and other financial metrics to optimize profitability. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within quick service or fast food environments. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing. Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and interviewing potential team members. Background in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform inventory control effectively. Experience in managing shifts within casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling regulations across various restaurant formats including hotel or bar environments.
