Job Overview ServiceMaster Apple Valley is hiring a dependable Restoration Service Technician to join our growing field team. This role involves hands-on restoration work including water damage mitigation, fire cleanup, mold remediation support, demolition, and jobsite cleaning for residential and commercial properties. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and comfortable responding to emergency restoration situations. Prior experience in restoration or construction is helpful, but we provide training for motivated individuals. Responsibilities Perform water damage mitigation including extraction drying, and equipment setup Assist with demolition and removal of damaged building materials Support fire and smoke damage cleanup and general restoration services Help with mold remediation and contents handling when needed Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.) Assist in documentation of job progress Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites and company vehicles Follow all safety procedures and industry restoration standards (IICRC guidelines) Communicate professionally with customers and team members Participate in rotating emergency on-call rotation (every other weekend) Requirements Valid driver's license required Ability to participate in 24/7 emergency on-call rotation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor daily Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environments Comfortable working in basements, crawlspaces, and demolition conditions Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Experience (Not Required) Water damage restoration or mitigation experience Construction, demolition, or general labor experience Fire or mold remediation experience Contents cleaning or carpet cleaning experience IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT) are a plus Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly pay ($22-$25/hr based on experience) Overtime opportunities On-call bonus pay opportunities Paid time off Paid training and certification support 401k benefits Health insurance contribution Career growth in a fast-growing restoration company Why Join Us This is a strong entry-to-mid level field role with real career growth potential in the restoration industry.
