Job Description

I. Your Role at Hasaki As a Retail Associate, you will be one of the faces of Hasaki, creating a welcoming, helpful, and trustworthy shopping experience for every customer. Through personalized beauty consultations, product recommendations, and strong store support, you will help customers discover products and routines that fit their needs while contributing to store sales, service, and operational goals. From skincare guidance and checkout support to replenishment, merchandising, and inventory accuracy, your attention to detail and customer-first mindset will help keep the store running smoothly and beautifully. What you will do Deliver great customer experiences Greet and engage customers with warmth, professionalism, and approachability. Assess customer needs, skin type, concerns, and beauty preferences to recommend suitable products and routines. Explain product benefits, ingredients, usage, and aftercare clearly and helpfully. Support sales goals through personalized consultations, cross-selling, upselling, and promotion awareness. Assist with product questions, promotions, returns, exchanges, and service requests in line with company policy. Build positive relationships with loyal and returning customers through consistent service and timely follow-up. Support checkout when assigned, including process payments, issue receipts, prepare orders, and upsell professionally at the counter. Grow with your team Foster a respectful, inclusive, and team-oriented store environment. Collaborate with store leaders, teammates, and support teams to achieve daily store priorities. Communicate customer feedback, product issues, inventory concerns, and operational needs to the right store leader. Participate in product education, brand training, and service programs; stay current on product updates, ingredients, beauty trends, and promotions to continuously sharpen knowledge and selling skills. Represent Hasaki's service standards, brand image, and customer-first values in every interaction. Keep the store running well Keep assigned areas like workstations, shelves, testers, and all customer-facing spaces clean, sanitary, organized, replenished, signed, and visually presentable at all times. Restock shelves per planograms and support accurate promotional setups, displays, and event execution. Monitor expiration dates and promptly report damaged, expired, missing, or unsellable merchandise. Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks, shipment put-away, and stockroom-to-floor replenishment. Follow all loss prevention procedures, shrink control guidelines, POS security, and cash handling policies. Complete opening, closing, and cash count procedures when assigned. Comply with company policies, safety requirements, sanitation guidelines, customer accommodation procedures, and data protection standards. Record all hours accurately in the company's timekeeping system. Follow meal period, rest period, overtime, and wage/hour procedures per applicable law and company policy. Perform other duties and operational tasks as assigned by store manager. III. Scheduling and Reliability Retail schedules may vary based on business needs, store traffic, holidays, events, and staffing coverage.
Typical scheduling expectations may include:
Full-time:
typically 30-40 hours per week
Part-time:
no more than 30 hours per week Availability during nights, weekends, holidays, promotions, and peak retail periods may be required Punctuality, consistent attendance, and schedule reliability are essential Employees are expected to accurately record all hours worked and follow company procedures for meal periods, rest periods, overtime, and wage/hour compliance Actual schedules, shift assignments, and weekly hours may vary based on store needs, employee availability, position type, and applicable law. Typical full-time shift examples may include:
Opening Shift:
8:45 AM•4:45
PM Mid Shift:
12:00 PM•8:00
PM Closing Shift:
1:30 PM•9:30 PM Employees may be scheduled for different shifts from week to week based on business needs. IV. Experiences and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Clear, friendly, and professional communication skills. Ability to explain beauty products and routines in a simple, helpful, and customer-focused way. Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced retail environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak business periods. Professional grooming and appearance appropriate for a beauty retail environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in retail, cosmetics, skincare, beauty, hospitality, or another client-facing environment. Basic knowledge of skincare routines, beauty products, or skin analysis. Beauty-related training, certifications, makeup experience, skincare experience, or esthetics background is a plus. Experience with POS systems, cash handling, merchandising, replenishment, or inventory support is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts. Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions as needed for stocking, shelving, and store operations. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed for retail stock and operational support. V. Performance Indicators Retail Associates may be evaluated based on role-related performance indicators, including but not limited to: Customer service quality and customer satisfaction. Consultation quality and product recommendation effectiveness. Sales contribution, conversion, and promotional support. Attendance, punctuality, and schedule reliability. Store standards, cleanliness, merchandising, and brand presentation. Inventory accuracy, shrink control compliance, and operational execution. Teamwork, communication, and adherence to company policies. Eligibility for performance-based incentives or bonuses is subject to company policy and business needs. VI. Pay Range:
$21.00•$26.00 per hour. Actual pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs. VII.
