The Retail Associate will assist customers with pool water testing, pool chemicals, parts, accessories, and general retail store support. This position is customer-facing and requires someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and willing to learn. Responsibilities include greeting customers, performing computerized pool water tests, reviewing water test results, helping customers find the correct products, processing sales, restocking shelves, keeping the store organized, answering phones, and assisting with general retail operations. Swimming pool experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers with pool chemicals, parts, and accessories. Perform pool water testing using the store's computerized water testing system. Explain water test results and recommended treatments. Process retail sales and customer payments. Answer phones and take customer messages. Help customers request or schedule service when needed. Restock shelves and organize inventory. Receive and organize product deliveries. Keep the retail store clean and presentable. Help customers load products when needed. Learn basic pool water chemistry and pool product usage. Communicate customer needs with the office and service teams.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills. Friendly and professional attitude. Dependable and organized. Basic computer skills. Willingness to learn pool water chemistry and pool care products. Ability to lift and carry pool chemicals and supplies. Previous retail or pool industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

This position may require the ability to: Stand for extended periods of time. Lift and carry products such as pool chemicals, salt bags, shock, tablets, and accessories. Stock shelves and organize inventory. Assist customers with loading products into their vehicles. Safely handle and organize pool chemical products.
