Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated sales associate to join our our Gallery team for 20 to 30 hours per week. This position offers competitive pay, a flexible schedule, and requires some weekend availability. The ideal candidate will work well with others, enjoys engaging with customers, and has an appreciation for art. Knowledge of artists and artwork is a plus, but not required.. Please feel free to email the Gallery or DM for more information Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Operate the POS system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts. Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to optimize sales potential. Provide excellent phone and email etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries, offering clear and helpful information. Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred but not necessary Strong communication skills Demonstrated ability to perform merchandising, display and restocking Excellent customer service skills paired with phone etiquette and professional demeanor Ability to work well with other Flexible scheduling Ability to lift and move merchandise such as paintings, sculptures and furniture
