Job Description

Position:
Registered Nurse Clark Fork Valley Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Acute Care team and provide exceptional care to patients in Sanders County. This role includes working in multiple areas: Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, and SWB, with the expectation to be competent in all areas after orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
Medication & Treatment Administration:
Administer prescribed medications and treatments within scope of practice, notifying providers when necessary.
Documentation:
Accurately and promptly document patient care in the electronic health record.
Patient Education & Care Plans:
Participate in and initiate individualized patient education and care plans.
Care Plan Management:
Adjust and manage care plans according to individual patient needs.
Competency:
Demonstrate required competencies within the scope of practice.
Compliance:
Follow all relevant standards for your area of work.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure:
Current Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Montana State Board of Nursing.
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) required. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) within 90 days of hire. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 90 days of hire. TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification upon completion of labor and delivery competency. STABLE certification preferred for Labor and Delivery.

Night shift, 36-40 hours per week.
