Job Description

Position:
Registered Nurse - PRN Clark Fork Valley Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Acute Care team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This position provides an opportunity to work in a variety of acute care areas, including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, and SWB, with the expectation to be competent in all areas after orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
Medication & Treatment Administration:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, within scope of practice, and notify providers when needed.
Documentation:
Accurately and promptly document patient care in the electronic health record.
Patient Education & Care Plans:
Initiate and participate in the development of individualized care plans and patient education.
Care Plan Management:
Tailor and manage care plans according to individual patient needs.
Competency:
Maintain required competencies within your scope of practice.
Standards Compliance:
Follow all standards relevant to your area of work.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure:
Current Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Montana State Board of Nursing.
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) required. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) within 90 days of hire. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 90 days of hire. TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification upon completion of labor and delivery competency. STABLE certification preferred for Labor and Delivery.
