RN - ED - Local Contract

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Utica, NY.

Job Function:

Day Shift, Mid Shift and Night Shift. 6:30am to 7pm/ 2:30pm to 3am/ 10:30pm to 11am. Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions. Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience. Close communication with all members of the healthcare team, as well as the ability to independently recognize the need for early intervention. Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing. Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures.

Job Requirements:

Active NYS License Floating Required 2+ years of experience in ED with some PEDS experience. Current

AHA ACLS , BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
