RN Float (ICU Nursing 7am-7pm)

Provides a float pool of nurses who can maintain competency for multiple departments. Nurse must be complete and maintain competency to work in 3 of the following areas: ED, SD/ICU, 2E/TCU, CVU, 3rd Floor.

New Float RN Compensation Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION

Associate Degree in Nursing

EXPERIENCE

Two years general nursing experience required

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS

Registered Nurse license. BLS Certification with 90 days of hire required.

Med-Surg:

ACLS certification preferred.

ICU/CVU/SDU

ACLS certification within 1 year of hire required. 3rd

Floor:

ACLS certification within 1 year of hire. PALS and NRP required within 2 years of hire.

EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS

Office machines, computer terminal, patient therapeutic equipment/machines, and diagnostic equipment.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Knowledge of appropriate patient population growth and development.
