Austin Eye is an ophthalmology/eye surgeon practice providing state-of-the-art eye care and eye surgery for the Austin community. Our Registered Nurse (RN) team members are involved with the administrative work and patient care needs for patients in our Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC). We will train the right individual who is motivated to learn. No prior ophthalmology experience is required. We have an outstanding work culture and work environment in the most modern ophthalmology surgical center in Austin. The RN's primary responsibilities will be to assist in the preoperative and postoperative work for patients undergoing eye surgery and oculoplastic surgery in an outpatient setting. The RN will also serve as circulating nurse in the OR. Our most common surgical procedure is cataract surgery. There is a considerable amount of administrative work involved in the position which includes: preparing patients' medical records and administrative responsibilities involved with operating and maintaining accreditation of an ophthalmology ambulatory surgical center. Our ASC is AAAHC and medicare approved. Experience in ASC management is a plus.

Active Texas Registered nurse license with 5 years of nursing experience is preferred. We are hiring for full-time and part-time RN positions.
