Required Qualifications:

Active RN license (state-appropriate) Graduate of an accredited nursing program BLS required; PALS preferred Pediatric or acute care experience preferred Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills Ability to provide family-centered care and function in a fast-paced setting

Core Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in an acute care environment Perform age-appropriate assessments and ongoing patient monitoring Administer medications, IV therapy, and ordered treatments safely and timely Recognize changes in condition and initiate appropriate interventions Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team on care plans Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR
